Cameron Mansker
, President and CEO of Speech
Specialists of San Antonio graduated from Our
Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas,
with a Master of Arts degree in Communication
Disorders. She also earned a Bachelor of Science
degree from Abilene Christian University in Abilene,
Texas, in 1998. She began Speech Specialists of
San Antonio in 2002. Her seven years experience
includes a variety of clients and settings working
in private schools, public schools, charter schools,
hospitals, speech and hearing clinics, skilled
nursing and home health agencies, early childhood
programs, and privately, with accent reduction
clients. Special interests include oral motor
therapy, articulation, and foreign accent modification.
Cameron has special training in the Arthur Compton
P-ESL program for Foreign Accent Reduction, Sara
Rosenfeld Johnson; A Three-Part Treatment to Oral-Motor
Therapy, and LiPS Lindamood Bell Program for Reading
and Spelling. In her spare time Cameron is involved
in church. She enjoys reading, attending Spurs
games, shopping, movies, cooking, and "spa days".

Karen Dickerson
received her Bachelor of Arts
degree in Communication Disorders from Baylor
University. After receiving her Master of Science
degree in Communication Disorders from the University
of North Texas, she worked in Houston, Texas,
as the Speech-Pathology Coordinator for a private
school specializing in the education of young
children with language differences. Karen has
ten years of experience specializing in the diagnosis
and treatment of language disorders in young children.
Later, Karen became an instructor and supervisor
at Our Lady of the Lake University where she trained
graduate students pursuing their masters degree
in the field. While there, she designed and taught
a graduate course in Counseling in Speech Pathology
and was a member of the South Texas Autism Research
Project at Santa Rosa Hospital. She is completing
evaluations and individualized therapy for elementary
and adolescents in the public school system. Karen
is also pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree
in Early Childhood Education at the University
of Texas at Austin. She enjoys traveling with
her husband, listening to live music and playing
with her two Dobermans.

Lauri Schule
graduated from Our Lady of the
Lake University in San Antonio, Texas, with a
Master of Arts degree and graduated from Abilene
Christian University in Abilene, Texas, with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders.
Her six years experience includes working in public
and charter schools, hospitals, rehab units, Head
Start, pediatrics ages 0-3, pediatric dysphagia,
and geriatric home health. Lauri has specialized
training in: Arthur Compton P-ESL program for
accent reduction and PECS- Picture Exchange Communication
System. Special interests include voice disorders,
dysphagia, accent reduction, and oral motor delays/feeding
disorders. Her hobbies are gardening, volleyball,
snowboarding, reading, shopping, and being a mom.

Kimberly Rodriquez
graduated from Abilene Christian
University in Abilene, Texas with a Master of Science
degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication
Disorders. Kimberly has primarily worked in the
long term care setting but enjoys working with
both adults and children. Her interests are in
articulation therapy, oral motor therapy, adult
langauge therapy, and dysphagia. She enjoys spending
time with her husband and family, camping, fishing,
cooking, and getting messages.

Dorian Jauregui
graduated from the University
of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Communication Disorders. She had the
privilege of working as a Cognitive and Speech
therapy intern for an in-patient rehabilitation
hospital. She has nine and a half years of experience
in the field, primarily in the public school setting.
Her interests include adolescent language disorders,
head injury (TBI) rehabilitation and assistive
technology/augmentative communication. She has
received trainings and performed trainings on
various assistive technology devices and programs.
She is recently married and enjoys spending time
with her husband and friends. Her hobbies include
computers and state and local politics.

Tracy Mulkey
graduated from Our Lady of the
Lake University with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Communication Disorders. Tracy has worked primarily
in the home health setting and public school district.
Tracy's interests are in language and dialectical
differences. Outside of working, Tracy enjoys
art history, swimming, her dogs and cats, attempting
to play golf, HGTV and the Discovery channel.

Jaclyn Park
, graduated from the University of
Texas at Austin where she received a Bachelors
degree in both History and Communication Disorders.
Her special interests include working with young
children and fluency disorders. In her spare time,
Jaclyn enjoys running, arts and crafts, gardening,
and spending time with friends and family.

Adela Guzman
graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University with a
Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders. Her four and a half years of
experience includes working with pediatrics with articulation and language
delays, and special needs. She is especially interested in alternative
communication techniques. Her specialized training includes PECS,
assistive technology devices, and oral motor therapy. Adela likes to go to
the movies, attend Spurs games, play tennis, and spend time with her
family and friends.

Ylanda Johnson
received a Bachelor of Science
in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from
Southern University and A & M College in Baton
Rouge, LA. She currently enjoys doing articulation
therapy with elementary, middle, and high school
students in an independent school district. She
has experience working with clients in public
schools, headstart, and clinical settings performing
articulation, language, and dysfluency therapy.
Her special interest is in neurological disorders.
During her spare time Ylanda enjoys reading self-help
books, spending time with her family, and learning
as much as possible about God.

Allison Stokes
received her Master's of Science
in Communication Disorders from Southwest Texas
State University. She completed her Bachelor's
of Science in Communication Disorders at Texas
Tech University. Allison has worked in a variety
of pediatric placements including Early Childhood
Intervention, Pediatric Acute Care, and Outpatient
Clinic's. Her special interests include feeding
disorders, oral motor delays, Apraxia of Speech,
and pediatric dysphagia. Allison enjoys spending
time with her family, being outdoors, and being
a mom.

Debbie Guajardo M.S. CFY-SLP
graduated from Texas Woman's University with
a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language
Pathology in 2005. She has worked in a variety of settings including
schools, nursing homes, private clinics, and home health. She currently
works within the public school and home health settings with children that
have articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders and also with
adult stroke patients with dysphagia in the home health setting. She
enjoys working with all populations. Her special interests include CVA
patients and rehabilitation, apraxia of speech, oral motor delays, and
dysphagia. Debbie is a certified sign language interpreter and has had
experience working with vital stimulation devices. She enjoys hanging out
with friends and family, traveling, and salsa dancing.

Earlene Villafuerte
graduated from Baylor University
(Sic'em) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication
Sciences and Disorders in 2003. Her experience
includes both English only and bilingual therapy
with children and adolescents in schools and home
health settings working on articulation, fluency,
and language disorders. Her special interests
are working with children of ages 2 to 12 with
language disorders. She is looking forward to
pursuing a Masters in Communication Disorders
in August 2005 at Our Lady of the Lake University.
She enjoys worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ, spending time with her son, watching how
fast he grows, shopping, and traveling all around
Texas to visit family with him.

Erin McCollough-Houser
graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Stephen F.
Austin State University and a Masters Degree from University of North
Texas. Erin has 3 years experience and currently works with early
intervention, home health, school districts, and nursing homes. Her
interests include: Early speech/language development, phonology,
augmentative communication, and cognition. She has specialized training in
the PECS trained (Picture Exchange Communication System) Erin’s hobbies
are traveling, camping, cooking, studying history and riding around on the
back of a Harley enjoying the beautiful state of Texas.

Emily McRae
, MS, CCC-SLP, graduated from Texas Tech University in communication disorders from M.S. Lamar University in speech language
pathology. She has 4 years experience with infants to geriatrics, in areas of speech, language, cognitive, voice, hearing,
clefts, CVA, dysphagia and motor speech issues. She has worked in a wide range of settings from acute care, rehab, SNU, LATC,
outpatient, schools and home health. Her hobbies include triathlons, reading, tennis and making jewelry.

Reagan Dorries
received her Master's degree
in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas
Womans University and her Bachelor's degree in
Communication Sciences and Disorders from Abilene
Christian University. Her experience includes
working with pre-school and school aged children
with langauge, articulation, fluency, and voice
disorders. She also has experience in the hospital
and rehabilitation settings. Currently, she is
involved in completing evaluations and individualized
therapy plans for adolescent children in the public
school setting. In her spare time she enjoys church
activities, being a mom, reading, shopping, scrapbooking,
and 'spa days'.

Gayle Flores
graduated with a M.A. in Communication Disorders from Our Lady of the Lake University. Gayle has 11 years of
experience. She currently does testing, ARDs, and supervision of Speech Assistants in the pubic school setting.
She is particularly interested in working with children with fluency and voice disorders and likes working with
babies ages 0-3 in which she has special training. Her hobbies are: writing poetry, collecting Elvis Presley
memorabilia, and especially helping with the puppet ministry at church and writing puppet show scripts.

Yuki Bort
graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication
Disorders in 2005. Her experience includes working in home health,
schools, clinics, and ECI. She currently works with children in the school
district. Her special interests are working with children who have
articulation delays. She enjoys reading and being with friends and family.

Penny LaDrew Yberra
graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton with a M.A. and B.A. in Speech and Communication Disorders.
She has 7 years experience and works with pediatric home health and school-age children, She loves working
with children, especially in the area of oral-motor and articulation. Penny has special training in
Oral-Motor/Articulation/Apraxia and Feeding with Sarah-Rosenfeld Johnson and Oral-Motor/Feeding with
Debra Beckman. She loves to spend time with friends, family, and her dog. She also likes to read and cook.

Jayna Hall
, recently graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Art degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology
and a minor in Linguistics. She has experience in nursing homes and currently works in pediatric Home Health, HeadStart, as
well as a school district. She will be pursuing a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in the spring and has a
special interest in traumatic brain injuries, dysphasia, and dementia. As an undergraduate, Jayna worked as a research
assistant in Speech-Language Pathology and completed all of her clinical practicum work in Audiology. On her time away from
work, she loves the outdoors and her favorite hobbies include snow skiing, camping, and hiking.

Gabi Trevino
graduated from the University of New Mexico with a BA in Speech and Hearing Sciences. This is her first year as a speech therapist, however last year she enjoyed working in two autism specific preschools.
She currently works with elementary and middle schools, as well as home health. She is PECS trained and certified and her primary interest is working with autism. She also is interested in working with fluency and oral motor delays. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping and working out.

Holly Slason
graduated from Southwest Texas
State University in San Marcos, Texas, with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders.
Her experience includes private therapy in Speech
Therapy Clinics with hearing impaired children
and therapy in the public school system with elementary,
junior high, and high school students. Holly enjoys
working with adolescent language disorders. Her
hobbies include: working out, traveling, and cooking.

Jennifer Rand
graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology .
She currently works with pediatric home health and public and charter schools. She is interested in swallowing
disorders including DPNS and Vital Stim treatment. She only has one more semester of graduate school to complete
her Masters degree. She has 5 years of clinical experience and has given presentations to other professionals in
the field regarding Visipitch technology for the treatment of voice clients. She enjoys watching boxing fights,
dancing, playing with her dogs, and a good cup of coffee.

Tara Zerbe
graduated from the University of Toledo in Ohio with a B.A. in Speech Pathology. She
is currently working with children in the elementary schools. She is primarily interested in working
with articulation and language disorders. Her primary interests are spending time with family, working out,
shopping, and Ohio State football GO BUCKS!!

Kate Paquette
graduated with a B.S. in Speech Pathology from Northeastern University in Boston. She currently works in the
elementary schools with children with articulation and language disorders. She is most interested in working with children
with language impairments and also bilingual children with speech delays. Her hobbies include: staying active by playing
soccer, volleyball, and basketball as well as working out in the gym. She loves to travel and hopes to visit South America.

Kerie Hix
graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language
and Hearing Sciences. Kerie has worked in a clinic for 2 years as an Audiology assistant. She currently works at a clinic
specializing in autism and in the public schools in San Antonio and surrounding areas. Her primary interest is in working
with children with hearing loss. Kerie’s enjoys animals especially her cat, trying new foods,
scrapbooking, and is a big college football fan.

Tina Eschelman
graduated with a B.S. in Communication Disorders from East Carolina University with a minor in Hispanic studies.
She has one year of experience and currently works with children in the school district and home health settings.
She had the opportunity to work as a camp counselor for brain injury survivors in North Carolina. She is especially interested in expressive and receptive language disorders, TBI, central auditory processing, aural rehabilitation, and bilingual therapy. Her personal hobbies and interests include: Christian ministry, community outreach, scrapbooking, photography, reading and traveling.

Brookes Lasswell
graduated with a M.A. in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas of Houston and a B.S. from the
University of Texas at Austin. She has two years of experience and currently works with children in public and
charter schools. Her primary interests in the field are neurological disorders, processing disorders, down’s
syndrome, and language delays. She is certified in American Sign Language. Her hobbies are traveling and cooking.

Nina Crosse
Nina Crosse, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Special
Education/Speech Pathology from Alabama A&M University, and received her
Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and
Technology from the University of Phoenix. She has 12 years experience working in Ft. Lauderdale, FL
primarily with students with multiple disabilities. She has extensive knowledge in Assistive Technology,
as well as creating and adapting lessons for students with disabilities. She has conducted several trainings
in IEP Writing, ECT (Environmental Communication Teaching), adapting books, PECS(Picture Exchange Communication System), and Boardmaker.
She is currently working in the public school district with high school students. In her free time,
Nina enjoys movies, reading, volleyball, and playing board games.

Norma Elena Fernandez
graduated from Normal de Especilization with a bachelors degree in Speech and Language Disorders.
She is bi-lingual in Spanish and currently working with elementary school students. Her interests include early childhood,oral
motor therapy, articulation and alternative communication techniques. She has 20 years experience working with young children.
Her hobbies are reading,spending time with her kids, walking her dog, and shopping.

Christina Wrightsman
graduated from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN with her BS in Speech Language Pathology.
She has 2 years experience and currently works in the public schools with elementary students.
Her special interests are in working with young children with articulation and language disorders.
She is especially interested in TBI and stroke patients. Her experience is primarily working with
children that have articulation, language, and fluency disorders in Elementary and Middle Schools.
She also has ADOS training. Christina enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter that was born
in April 2006. She also enjoys swimming, rollerblading, eating out, playing video games, singing,
attending church and watching movies.

Anne Davidson
graduated from from UT-Austin with a Bachelors degree and obtained her
Masters degree at UT-Dallas. She is originally from san antonio and just
moved back from Dallas. Her special interests are in adult neurological
diseases, Aphasia, and cognitive therapy. She enjoys running, reading,
watching movies, going to the hill country and spending time with family
and friends.

University of Houston with a Masters of Arts in Communication Disorders. She has 2 years and 8 months experience and currently
works in geriatrics. Her interests include dysphagia and aphasia and she will be DPNS certified after May 6. Her hobbies
include camping, cooking, gardening and traveling.

Liberty Gonzales
graduated from Baylor University in Waco, TX with a Bachelor of Arts in
Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master of Science in
Speech-Language Pathology. She enjoys spending time with her family. She
feels they are the most important people to her. I also enjoy cleaning,
organizing, working out, taking vacations, church, and family. I enjoy my
profession and love helping people.

Liz Harmon
received her Bachelor of Science
degree in Commmunication Disorders from Southwest
Texas State University (Texas State University)
in 1992 and a Master of Arts degree in Communication
Disorders from Our Lady of the Lake University
in 1994. Her 10-years of experience include public
school, home health (adult & children), and
inpatient rehabilitation centers. She has a special
interest in phonological processing and articulation
disorders in children. Liz is actively involved
in church and serves as "Treasurer"
for her neighberhood association. Liz enjoys spending
time laughing and playing with her 2 young children
and time with her husband. She also enjoys shopping,
traveling, walking, and some "down time".

Kristal Fortner
graduated from Rockhurst University
in Kansas City, Missouri, with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Communication Disorders. She has experience
with childhood and adolescent articulation, language,
and fluency. Mainly her experiences have taken
place in the public school system. Kristal's interests
are in language development in special populations.
In her spare time, Kristal enjoys the outdoors,
particularly at the lake, and snow skiing.

Morri Martinez
, Account Manager, graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a BA in Public Relations and Speech Communications.
She has been with the company for a year and a half and maintains close relationships with the home health agencies and
schools throughout San Antonio and South/Central Texas. She enjoys listening to live music, traveling and writing.

Stephanie Girls
Administrative Assistant. She is new with the company and she has 5 years experience in customer service and office management.
She is looking forward to utilizing her skills when assisting not only the company but the therapists, agencies and schools with whatever their needs might be. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, shopping and cooking.

Cassidi Mansker
graduated from Abilene Christian
University in 2003 with a bachelor of Science
degree in International Studies and a minor in
Spanish. Cassidi serves as Director of Therapy
Services for Speech Specialists of San Antonio
and The Therapy Team. Her interests include traveling
the world, obtaining a pilot license, running,
skydiving, shopping, and mexican food/ culture/music.
