Therapy Team Staff

 

 

Cassidi Mansker graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2003 with a bachelor of Science degree in International Studies and a minor in Spanish. Cassidi serves as Director of Therapy Services for Speech Specialists of San Antonio and The Therapy Team. Her interests include traveling the world, obtaining a pilot license, running, skydiving, shopping, and mexican food/ culture/music.

 

David Germanaro , LOT Licensed Occupational Therapist, graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas with a BSOT. He has 9 years experience in the pediatric field and he is interested in autism research. He currently works in the school district and with Home Health clients. His hobbies include playing the guitar, riding a motorcycle, praise team at church and writing.

 

Laurie Welch , OTR, graduated from California State University Dominguez Hills with a BS in Occupational Therapy. She has 3 years experience and is currently working with pediatrics in schools, homes and clinics. Her interests are in pervasive developmental disorders and developmental delay. She has taken additional courses in sensory processing and handwriting without tears. Her hobbies include working out, scrap booking and playing with her kids.

 

Alfred Quijano, Jr., LPTA Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, has 14 years of experience working primarily with geriatrics. He recently has been working with pediatrics and is enjoying this new experience although his major interests are in geriatric orthopedics. His hobbies include fishing, traveling, and exercising.

 

Henry Dominguez, LPTA, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, graduated from St. Phillips college in San Antonio, Texas. He has 24 years experience in geriatrics and recently has been working with pediatrics in home health and the school district setting. His primary interests lie with the geriatric population and acute care. Henry enjoys fishing, hunting, and camping.

 

Rosie Diaz , PTA, graduated from St. Phillips. She has 17 years experience and currently works with orthopedics and acute care. Her interest is in geriatrics and her hobbies include staying busy with her husband Alex and her children Ashley, Briana and Cameron.

 

James Bolding COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, graduated from St. Philip’s College in San Antonio, Texas with an Associates Degree. He has 16 years experience and currently works with geriatrics in nursing homes and Home Health. His hobbies include refereeing high school basketball, hunting, hiking, fishing and camping.

 

Mistelle Oakley OTR Graduated from Texas Tech University in 1998 with a BS degree in Occupational Therapy. Currently work with pediatrics in home health and the school system.  Special training in sensory integration and infant muscle massage. Currently have 7 years of pediatric experience. Hobbies/interests: water skiing, snow skiing, shopping, and spending time with my two little boys.

 

Karen Ratcliff OTR graduated with a BS from Texas Women's University and a MS from University of Central Arkansas in Occupational Therapy. She has 8 years experience and currently works with pediatric home health and the children in public schools. She enjoys working with all ages of children. She is certified in sensory integration.  Karen hobbies are reading, scrapbooking, and shopping.

 

Roy Diaz, LPTA Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, graduated from St. Phillips College in San Antonio, Texas. He has 20 years of experience. Mainly his interests are in acute rehab, geriatric population, and sports medicine. Most of his experience is with the geriatric population. Roy enjoys cycling and running.

 

Patricia Shope Patricia Shope, OTR graduated with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She currently works with pediatric home health and with adults in skilled nursing facilities. Patricia has six years of experience as an O.T. in acute care and with inpatient rehabilitation with adults and children. She is especially interested in pediatrics.  Her hobbies are spending time with her two daughters, reading, knitting, making scrapbooks and walking.

Carol Kothman , PTA Physical Therapist Assistant graduated from Phillips College in San Antonio, Texas. She 4 years of experience and works primarily with the geriatric population. She also has recently obtained pediatric experience in the last year. Her hobbies include motorcross races with her 7 year old son, swimming, and spending time with her family.

 

Melanie Weichel is an Occupational Therapist, and graduated from University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. Her background includes working in nursing homes, clinics, home health, and school system. Her interests include traveling, eating, walking, and time with family and friends.

 

Tiffany Gold , OTR, MHA, graduated from the UT Medical branch with a Master’s in Healthcare Administration. She has 3 years experience and currently works with geriatrics at long term care facilities. Her hobbies include scrap booking, jewelry making, shopping and spending time with family.

 

Karla Castilleja , COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, graduated from St. Philip's College in San Antonio, Texas with an AAS. She has 3 years experience and currently works full time in a nursing home with mainly geriatrics. Her hobbies include any outdoor activity and spending time with her family.

 

Angela Pardean OTR graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio with a B.S in Occupational Therapy. She has 17 years of experience working with geriatrics in a variety of settings. She currently works in nursing homes. Her hobbies and interests are camping with her family, taking vacations anywhere, and watching chick flicks.  

 

Morri Martinez , Account Manager, graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a BA in Public Relations and Speech Communications. She has been with the company for a year and a half and maintains close relationships with the home health agencies and schools throughout San Antonio and South/Central Texas. She enjoys listening to live music, traveling and writing.

 

Stephanie Girls Administrative Assistant. She is new with the company and she has 5 years experience in customer service and office management. She is looking forward to utilizing her skills when assisting not only the company but the therapists, agencies and schools with whatever their needs might be. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, shopping and cooking.

 

Cameron Mansker , President and CEO of Speech Specialists of San Antonio graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas, with a Master of Arts degree in Communication Disorders. She also earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, in 1998. She began Speech Specialists of San Antonio in 2002. Her seven years experience includes a variety of clients and settings working in private schools, public schools, charter schools, hospitals, speech and hearing clinics, skilled nursing and home health agencies, early childhood programs, and privately, with accent reduction clients. Special interests include oral motor therapy, articulation, and foreign accent modification. Cameron has special training in the Arthur Compton P-ESL program for Foreign Accent Reduction, Sara Rosenfeld Johnson; A Three-Part Treatment to Oral-Motor Therapy, and LiPS Lindamood Bell Program for Reading and Spelling. In her spare time Cameron is involved in church. She enjoys reading, attending Spurs games, shopping, movies, cooking, and "spa days".
